• Children's Education

In 1990, the United Nations adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which is built on the principle that the rights and welfare of children should be the ‘first call’ on the resources of every society and state. Canadian Samaritans for Africa supports women groups in Nigeria, Uganda, South Sudan, Central Africa, Kenya, and Burkina Faso through micro-credit, training, and partnership so that they can grow wealth, and make some saving to support the education of children. We also provide scholarship for some of the children. Your support will help us pay school fees for more children especially orphans who are out of school because the women taking care of them do not have enough resources to pay their school fees and provide food and shelter for them

  • Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women and Girls

The Central core of our mission is to build on the assets of the African woman. We believe that patriarchal and social hierarchies are opposed to the God’s reign and pose serious threats to the human and cultural fulfillment. Canadian Samaritans for Africa has worked for 15 years in giving hope and support for women in Africa. We have built a women’s center in Nigeria, a Girls’ hostel in Uganda and we continue to support micro-credit for women co-operative groups in 10 ongoing project sites in Burkina Faso, South Sudan, Central African Republic, Kenya, and Uganda.
