Ekwy Odozor is a mother of 4, teacher, information specialist and community leader. Ekwy considers it a privilege to be serving in Canadian Samaritan for Africa. Ekwy was born in Nigeria to parents who taught her the value of service and community. She has always believed in that those who are privileged should share their possessions for the common good.
Raised in Nigeria, and educated in Nigeria and Canada, Mrs. Odozor is aware of the vast disparities in the lives of young people in the two societies. Guided by Christ’s lesson that “to whomever much is given, of him will much be required” (Luke 12:48) Ekwy has continued to serve humanity through her activities in her Nigerian and Canadian communities and her vocation as a teacher.
