Canadian Samaritans for Africa’s Pilgrimage of Hope and Friendship to Africa

Every year, Canadian Samaritans for Africa organizes a trip to Africa. This trip enables friends of Africa and people of good will who wish to visit Africa to see some of our projects to make a trip of a lifetime. This trip combines three things, a spiritual journey to some of the most important Christian sites in Africa, an opportunity to volunteer for a week or more at the sites of some of our partners who are working to change lives for women and the girl child in Africa; and four days of unforgettable African Safari. The trip this year will take place from July 31-August 12. We will visit the Uganda’s Martyrs Shrine; volunteer at Sr Rosemary Nyirumbe’s St Monica Girls School for young girls (http://www.prosforafrica.com/sister-rosemary ) who have been rescued from war; and spend five days on the African Safari at the famous Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
